Students on The Hill

(6th – 12th grades)

Our mission through the Students on The Hill ministry is to see middle and high school students BELIEVE the Gospel, BECOME the Christian God is calling them to be, and BE SENT into their schools and the world to do the work of the ministry. Through getting together and building their faith, we hope to equip the next generation with the ability to lead their schools, friends, and families to Jesus!

The student ministry in any church is so important, and at SMBC, we value our Students on The Hill as the church of today! During this age, it’s very easy for youth to have busy schedules, get overwhelmed with school work and extracurricular activities, get a little lazy with attending church, and not feel as motivated to make the efforts to come. It can be a hectic time in their lives, and at SMBC, we hope that coming to church is a wonderful, relaxing break in their busy schedules. Church should be somewhere that our students know they are accepted, they are always welcome, and that God loves them no matter what. These students can make such an impact on the world, and in this highly technological age we live in… more so, now, than ever before. Students on The Hill are encouraged to join us for Sunday School, come to Connect 803 Student Church meetings on Sunday nights at 6:00 pm, participate in church on Sunday mornings, and get involved in the many trips and events we hold throughout the year! Your 6th-12th grade student has a place to belong with the Students on The Hill!
